Missy’s love of missions was started by her Sunday School teacher and after several different trips, she found herself in Bayonnais, Haiti. She immediately connected with the community and in her words, her student that she sponsors “found” her. As a Service Unit Manager for Meck 1 (Hornet’s Nest, Girl Scouts of America) and working with 1,000 scouts, it shouldn’t surprise you that her passion is the Student Sponsorship Program. You’ll see her smiling face at many sponsorship drives, advocating for the students in need of sponsors to attend school.
