We are excited to introduce you to Melissa MacIver, the new Executive Director for World of God!

Thank you to everyone who participated in Giving Tuesday this year. We raised $1875 through Facebook and $210 through our website. Total raised $2,085.

Goal: $11,500 Giving Tuesday is on December 1. World of God will hold a special fundraiser for school benches, which are in need. Cost is about $2500 for 24 benches. These are sourced and built locally in Haiti, therefore, helping the local economy!

It may be difficult to imagine or to comprehend. However, in late September Actionnel and OFCB shared with World of God a dramatic shift in the Haitian exchange rate.

Thank you to everyone that contributed funds for the Bayonnais Fuel Tank Fundraiser, held December 2019. Due to your generosity, World of God was blessed to have raised $12,960, including $250 of matched funds from Facebook’s Giving Tuesday event.

Most of the kiddos in the US may be taking a break from school for the summer, but not in Bayonnais! Our friends there are working hard to finish up the 2019-2020 school year!! They had to put school on hold earlier this year due to Covid-19.

The January 12, 2010 earthquake was one of the most catastrophic natural disasters that affected an estimated 3 million Haitians. Haiti quickly rose to the top of the list of many humanitarian hotspots.

The officials have announced today that the next 2 months will still be times of confinement, which has been seen like a cup of cold water being spread on someone very late in the morning during winter.

As many of you already know, World of God has been unable to send teams to Bayonnais for almost a year. This has directly impacted child sponsorship. Our Mission Trips have always been a catalyst for child sponsorship.

We can say that no nation on earth knows better than Haiti just how destructive, dangerous, and destabilizing deforestation, floods, and climate change can be.
